1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using KraftLens AI's document processing services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Services.

2. Description of Services

KraftLens AI provides artificial intelligence-powered document understanding and structure extraction services, including but not limited to:

• Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and text extraction
• Table detection and structure recognition
• Document layout analysis
• Structured data extraction and JSON output
• API access and integrations

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and passwords. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use our Services for lawful business purposes consistent with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use the Services to process illegal content
• Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Fees

Pricing is based on your selected plan (Free, Pro, or Enterprise). Current pricing is available at kraftlens.ai/pricing.

5.2 Billing

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Usage-based charges are billed monthly in arrears
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice

5.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers (Enterprise), and wire transfers. Failed payments may result in service suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. We claim no ownership over your content. You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the Services.

6.2 Our IP

KraftLens AI owns all rights to our AI models, algorithms, software, APIs, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as necessary to use the Services.

6.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about our Services become our property and may be used without compensation or attribution.

7. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

7.1 Uptime Commitment

• Free Plan: No SLA guarantee
• Pro Plan: 99.5% uptime
• Enterprise Plan: 99.9% uptime with custom SLA available

7.2 Scheduled Maintenance

We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Warranty

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE 100% ACCURACY IN DOCUMENT PROCESSING.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KRAFTLENS AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Data Processing Agreement

For customers subject to GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy laws, we offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Contact us to execute a DPA.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of fees
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Services

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease. We will delete your data according to our retention policy (typically within 90 days).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KraftLens AI from any claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with JAMS rules, except that you may bring claims in small claims court.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and KraftLens AI
• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent
